These Jalapeño Popper Flatbread Tacos are the perfect low-carb meal or snack, combining the smoky flavor of bacon, the heat of jalapeños, and creamy, cheesy goodness—all wrapped up in crispy CutDaCarb flatbreads. Perfect for a quick meal or appetizer, and they come together in no time!
Ingredients
- 2 CutDaCarb flatbreads
- 1 cup cooked chicken chopped
- 4 slices bacon cooked and crumbled
- 2 Tbsp cream cheese softened
- 2 Tbsp jalapeños chopped
- ½ tsp each: pepper, salt, garlic powder, & onion powder
- 1/2 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- 3 Tbsp. avocado oil for skillet option
Instructions
1.Prepare the Flatbreads:
- Cut each CutDaCarb flatbread into 4 equal squares, giving you a total of 8 squares.

2.Make the Filling:
- In a bowl, combine the cooked chicken, crumbled bacon, softened cream cheese, chopped jalapeños, shredded cheddar cheese, and seasonings (pepper, salt, garlic powder, and onion powder). Mix until all ingredients are well incorporated.

3.Assemble the Tacos:
- Divide the filling evenly between the flatbread squares.

- Fold each square in half, pressing down the edges to form a taco shape. Ensure the edges are sealed to prevent the filling from spilling out during cooking.
Cooking Methods
Skillet:
- Heat 3 Tbsp of avocado oil in a skillet over medium heat.

- Place the folded tacos in the skillet, cooking each side for about 2-3 minutes or until they are golden brown and crispy.
- Remove from the skillet and drain on a paper towel to soak up any excess oil.

Air Fryer:
- Preheat your air fryer to 375°F (190°C).
- Arrange the flatbread tacos in a single layer in the air fryer basket (you may need to cook in batches).
- Cook for 12 minutes, flipping them halfway through for an even golden-brown crisp on both sides.
